I miss this show.

I miss Phil and Lem, especially. And not just because you could give them the portmanteau Phlem.

Magical Paths Begging To Be Walked

Roads and paths pervade our literature, poetry, artwork, linguistic expressions and music. Even photographers can’t keep their eyes (and lenses) off of a beautiful road or path, which is why we collected this list of 28 amazing photos of paths.

Paths like these have a powerful grip on the human imagination – they can bring adventure, promise and change or solitude, peace and calm. There’s nothing like a walk down a beautiful path to clear your head – or to fill it with ideas!

I’ll leave you with an excellent quote from J. R. R. Tolkien’s works while you enjoy these images; “It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.

  1. Autumn In The White Carpathians : Janek Sedlar
  2. Rhododendron Laden Path, Mount Rogers, Virginia, USA: Robert Ziegenfuss
  3. Spring In Hallerbos Forest, Belgium: Kilian Schönberger
  4. Autumn Path In Kyoto, Japan: Takahiro Bessho
  5. Autumn Path: Lars Van Der Goor
  6. Bamboo Path In Kyoto, Japan: Yuya Horikawa
  7. Hitachi Seaside Park Path In Japan: nipomen2
  8. Dark Hedges In Ireland: Stephen Emerson
  9. Winter Forest Path, Czech Republic: Jan Machata
  10. Path Under Blooming Trees In Spring: Emanuel Costinas

The road goes ever on and on.

"Waste of good ammo. It’s my privilege to buy you a replacement box."

"All self-respecting whites have a moral responsibility to support our growing number of martyrs to the failed experiment called diversity."

"I thank all Police, you are the ‘Thin Blue Line’ protecting normal Americans from aggressive and entitled primitive savages. America is surely at the tipping point."

Just a few quotes (in case it’s hard to read) from that collection of donation messages for Darren Wilson.

Does anyone else want to say it’s not about race?

This is why white people get side-eyed. Some of these people are your aunts and uncles.

These people are disgusting. This is all disgusting. That shitbucket needs to rot in jail forever.

The part about this that makes me cry forever is that this man has lost nothing - he still has a paying job, still has a family, and will not be charged with anything that requires legal representation, but people have lined up to give him money. They’re rewarding him.  To the tune of over a hundred and fifty thousand dollars. I have thought the very worst about humanity in the last few weeks.

(And I hope none of you ever have an emergency and use GoFundMe as a fundraising tool, because they will never EVER get 5% of anything from me. Fuck them.)

But it’s not about race, right?
